The Faculty of Home Economics at Menoufia University in Egypt has been holding an annual international conference to contribute to the development and advancement of Egyptian society. This year's conference focuses on utilizing various types of waste, whether from households, institutions, or factories. Therefore, a conference theme was chosen to align with this pressing societal desire, which revolves around recycling. Recycling is a vital and essential aspect of sustainable development. It refers to converting waste into new products, which helps reduce the consumption of raw materials and prevent waste accumulation. Recycling can have numerous benefits for the environment, economy, and society. Indeed, all areas of home economics allow for the recycling of various types of waste, such as household waste, institutional waste, clothing factory waste, and food industry waste.
