The Faculty of Home Economics at Menoufia University in Egypt has been holding an annual international conference aimed at contributing to the development and advancement of Egyptian society. This year's conference focuses on the utilization of various types of waste, whether from households, institutions, or factories. Therefore, a conference theme was chosen to align with this pressing societal desire, and the theme revolves around recycling. Recycling is a vital and important aspect of sustainable development. It refers to the process of converting waste into new products, which helps reduce the consumption of raw materials and prevent waste accumulation. Recycling can have numerous benefits for the environment, economy, and society. Certainly, all areas of home economics allow for the recycling of various types of waste, such as household waste, institutional waste, clothing factory waste, as well as food industry waste.
